New Dungeon Finder App – One of the Best Addition Released Since Wrath of the Lich King
For those of us who have been playing World of Warcraft since it was released, the addition of the new cross-realm Dungeon Finder tool in patch 3.3 was very welcome. The dungeon finder allows you to select individual or random dungeons, and queues you up for the roles you select. You can queue for any role that your class is capable of, be it damage, healing, tanking, or any combination of the three.
Alongside this change, they have opted to remove the heroic dungeon daily quests. For those of you using a WoW daily quests guide, instead of doing the dungeon daily you will want to queue for a random dungeon using the tool. As a sort of unforeseen extra, the random heroic doesn’t count towards your 25 alotted WoW dailies.
Since the tool is cross-realm, getting groups has gotten much faster. Healers and tanks have near instant queues, and DPS classes usually only have to wait about 10 minutes. I’m a huge fan of this new tool, and if the message boards are anything to go by, so is everyone else.
